Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch composes for LCO’s Galya Bisengalieva

Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch has contributed to a new EP released today by London Contemporary Orchestra leader, Galya Bisengalieva. Galya is an award winning Kazakh/ British violinist who has collaborated with composers Steve Reich, Laurie Spiegel, Suzanne Ciani, Terry Riley, Pauline Oliveros as well as commissioning and performing new works by Hildur Guðnadóttir, Sarah Davachi and Mica Levi.

Her debut solo release, ‘EP One’, is released today and features three track, including one (titled ‘Oparin’) composed by Emilie, as well as others by herself and Claire M Singer.

Released in a  ltd edition of 300 vinyl copies as well as digitally, you can find the EP on Bandcamp.
