Stockholm-based pianist/composer Shida Shahabi has a new release out today, in the the form of a five-track digital EP of her latest film score.  ‘Alvaret (original soundtrack)’ was composed for Swedish director Maria Eriksson-Hecht‘s short film, produced by Lars Von Trier’s Zentropa company. Stepping away from her piano entirely, the EP’s five tracks are performed by Shida on electric bass and synth, alongside the cello of regular collaborator Linnea Olsson.
