Ransom Note have premiered a new video from London-based French pianist Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch‘s ‘Epoques’ album. The video for ‘The Only Water’ was directed by Rose Glass, who writes how the video “started with the image of a woman chasing herself and evolved from there. I wanted to play with the idea of dualities and contradictions in all of us. Beautiful Grotesque. Fertile Destructive. Sincere Stupid.” It follows hot on the heels of another video for the track ‘A Trace Of Salt’, which was premiered last week.
Emilie features on our new EP ‘The Sea at The End of Her String’, which includes seven exclusive new tracks, and she plays live this week on a triple-bill UK tour also featuring Resina and Shida Shahabi. The tour dates run as follows:
27 Sep – Church Of The Annunciation, Brighton, UK – tickets
28 sep – Rough Trade Bristol, Bristol, UK – tickets
29 Sep – Union Chapel, London, UK – **LUNCHTIME show entry by donation
